Time to get serious

You know how, after Thanksgiving, I said something like "How do I handle this? Do I freak out, eating nothing but bell pepper strips and exercising for two hours every day? Nope."

Well, time to change that to "Yep."

Bell pepper strips? Check.

Carrots and celery? Check.

Lentils and brown rice? Check.

Cookies out of sight in the freezer? Check.

134 pounds. About 6 more than I need to wear a size 6 comfortably. And my 8s all fit oddly, and the 10s are still huge (I put them on this morning, then decided "Hammer Pants" went out of style long ago).

So, I'm squeezed into my 6's, with a baggy sweater to cover my too-tight rear, and hoping no one is offended by the sausage casing on my thighs. I'm going to sort through the Salvation Army bags that were never dropped off at Salvation Army, hoping to find a pair of pants or two that kinda mostly fit, that I can wear to the office for the next month while I slim back down.

I'm still saying Hell No to 2 hours of exercise a night, but I might dust off that exercise bike or check out a workout video at the library.
